Date: 27th of June

Location: The Six Bells, Kidlington

Professor Stuart Peirson gave us a fascinating overview around the science underpinning sleep. Over the course of a few beers, Stuart addressed a number of core questions including:

  • Why do we sleep?

  • What are circadian rhythms and what role do they play in our lives?

  • What is the role of light? And why does blue light matter?

  • Why is the scientific study of dreams so challenging?

  • What are the next horizons for sleep science?
